James Pfeiffer (Realtor®, DRE#01943471) grew up on the Monterey Peninsula and graduated from Stevenson High School. After receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and a Master's degree in the same field from the University of Maryland, James began a 20 year career as a naval aviator flying the FA-18 Super Hornet. He retired from the Navy in 2013 and joined San Carlos Agency, Inc. He is married to Lori Britton Pfeiffer (sister of Jack Britton), who also works at San Carlos Agency, Inc. and together they are raising their two children and Yellow Labrador in Carmel Valley.

Jack Britton (Broker, M.S.R.E., LEED GA, Realtor®, DRE#01878357) was born and raised in Carmel and also graduated from Stevenson High School before attending and playing two sports at Middlebury College in Vermont. An avid baseball player and fan, Jack began his career with the San Francisco Giants before spending four years working for the Chief Marketing Officer of Major League Baseball’s Office of the Commissioner in New York City. After a rewarding five-year stint in the sports industry, Jack moved back west and earned a Master of Science in Real Estate from the University of San Diego. This cutting edge real estate program helped Jack earn and develop a foundation of specialized skills to better prepare him for a successful career in the industry. Jack is the grandson of San Carlos Agency, Inc. founders, Jack and Ione Miller, and has returned to the area to continue his family legacy of honest and fair real estate dealings in Carmel and the greater Monterey Peninsula.

Natalie Britton (Realtor®, DRE#02041776) With over 15 years of experience in the industry spanning markets in 3 states, Natalie brings a dynamic skill set to San Carlos Agency, Inc. A third generation Realtor and proud Monterey native, Natalie was educated locally in our public school system. Largely influenced by a desire to help those in need, Natalie completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Science Summa Cum Laude from CSU Monterey Bay while concurrently embarking on her career in sales, brokerage operations, transaction coordination, and property management. Her background in psychology translated naturally to sales and the consumer experience in her vocation.  After relocating to the Pacific Northwest and working in sales, marketing, and acquisitions for a real estate developer in the Portland and Seattle Metropolitan areas, Natalie returned to Carmel to continue her path in sales and property management. After a 7-year tenure with the nation’s largest owner and operator of residential real estate brokerages, Natalie made the transition to San Carlos Agency, Inc. to combine family legacies with her husband, Jack Britton.  Natalie is grateful for the opportunity to be part of her family-owned brokerage and hopes that her dedication to the mission statement will continue to strengthen the foundation of the 70-year-old company for future generations. Hard work and integrity served as the backdrop for her upbringing and she resonates with the company’s core values rooted in honest and fair dealings. In her downtime, Natalie enjoys embarking on outdoor adventures, participating on sports teams, cooking, and travelling internationally.

Lori Britton Pfeiffer (Realtor®, DRE#01388635) was raised in both Sacramento and Carmel. Along with her brother Jack, she’s grown up in the San Carlos Agency, Inc. office.  As a high school and college student, Lori worked with the company’s various housekeeping teams and trained in various facets of Property Management. Wanting to follow her love of languages and world cultures, she attended UC Santa Barbara as a Spanish Language and Literature major. Upon graduation, she then went on to receive graduate degrees in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and Education at both the Middlebury Institute of International Studies and Chapman University. For ten years, Lori taught Bilingual Education at the Elementary and Middle Division levels. Although sad to leave her teaching career behind, she made the decision to return to San Carlos Agency, Inc. in 2002 to work with her family.  In 2003, Lori met her future husband James Pfeiffer at McCall’s Motorworks Revival during Concours Week. He had flown his F/A-18 to the Revival to serve as a static display. They married in 2004, and James’s active duty military status eventually moved them to the East Coast.  Lori and James both returned to SCA in 2013 after James’s Navy retirement. James is now the company's General Manager, and Lori runs the Vacation Rental Department with her future sister-in-law, Natalie. She, James, and their two children love being “home” on the Monterey Peninsula continuing the family legacy.
